Children’s Therapy

Childhood is supposed to be carefree.
But it’s not for many kids.
School is tough.
Friendships are tough.
Managing their emotions is tough.
And these days, anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence are at an all-time high.
They need help.
But it’s hard being a parent, too!
None of us was adequately prepared for this role.
And let’s face it: Growing up, most of us didn’t have the best models for how to raise a family and maintain a household.
We always want to do better, but we often feel like we’re failing and letting our kids down.

We’re experts in helping children.
We know what they need and how they learn best, depending on their developmental level.
Children express themselves best through play. That’s why play therapy is our primary way of connecting to them; it’s their language. Plus, it’s been scientifically proven that children learn best when they’re having fun.
In the playroom, children can express emotions, build skills, and improve their self-esteem. They can role-play behavior changes and work through challenges by playing them out.
We’ll also use other expressive approaches like art therapy, sand tray therapy, and poetry therapy to give kids the chance to express themselves more intuitively.
We also help YOU help your child.
While working with your child, we’ll meet with you regularly for consultation and support.
Your child is unique. As we get to know them, we become increasingly skilled at interpreting their behaviors.
We’ll always keep you informed about how your child is progressing and what their behavior is revealing.

Now is the time to take action.
Do it before your next “silent dinner.”
Before you have another call from their teacher about their behavior.
Before you feel defeated again.
We’d love to meet you and discuss how we can assist you.
